When Stephon Heyer played for Brookwood High, he knew that this would be one of the greatest stepping stones that he could use, in order for him to set his career into one of the best future players that the American Football sport would ever see. In fact, when he graduated in high school, and when he became a varsity player for the Broncos in 2001 and 2002, there have been various schools and colleges in various states, such as Ohio State, Auburn, Florida, Vanderbilt, and others that offered him a position to their football teams, knowing that he can perform his task very well.

Thanks to his large height, and even a tougher build, Steve Heyer served to be as one of the most formidable tackle players out there. When he decided to play for the Maryland Terrapins, he knew right then and there that his picking had been the result of his performance when he played for Brookwood, while he was in high school. Without further adieu, he had played for the team, but was only appreciated during the last 13 matches in the his first season, which was in 2002, when he participated as one of the last lines of defense, where his left tackle position made the team win against various colleges.

From then on, Steve Heyer has been chosen to be one of the starters for the team, everytime there have been matches done against other teams. All games have placed him to the opening left tackle position, knowing that his tower of power can stop most aspiring players that wanted to score a touchdown during the earlier part of the game. While others may have the strategy to become aggressive in targeting the end line, the Terrapins also have the same thinking, only they are using a secret weapon that can be a threat at the onset of the 1st game.

This pattern had been repeated over and over again. In fact, it has been anticipated by most Maryland fans that Stephon Heyer will be standing on the left, preparing his guard, and readying his attacking maneuver in order to shake down enemy offenses as early as the beginning of the game. This is how he had achieved prowess in the world of American football, which had attracted the Washington Redskins to have them in their team, including the Oakland Raiders that chose him to keep the same notable and recognized team position.

Stephon Heyer is a world renowned American football player playing in the National Football League. Playing for the Oakland Raiders he has many achievements under his belt. Even though he was an ordinary boy from an ordinary town, Steve Heyer has grown into a fine example for many other young people who want to enter the football industry. Currently playing the position of offensive tackle he has shown nothing but the best skills and techniques one could desire out of a player. He has always been blessed with the structure and stature that every player needs to be able to play well. He also has leadership skills and is a great asset to the Oakland team.

His achievements started off at a very young age and this was the time when he was in high school. Freshman year was all about making and building his football skills and that is precisely what he did. Steve Heyer played many games all throughout his high school years and was a two-year letterman in football. Whilst being in Maryland, he played 50 games and started at left tackle in 37 of those games making his position an official territory. When the Redskins recruited him, it was more than just a blessing. He played many times and had also a few injuries but never gave up.

The miracle was the fact that he polished his skills so well there were many people who had their eyes on him. He gave results fast; he was fact on his feet and thought strategically. Every move was to make sure his team had the upper hand and nothing could get in their way. He was a shining example to all those students who also want to compete in sports. That is because Heyer’s academic record never failed him. He also has grabbed much recognition as an All-ACC lineman of the year on many occasions. Such awards are so important that it was what made his career shoot up. Many teams and fans respect him for his dedication to the trade.

He plays his heart out and is currently playing in his fifth year in professional football. He has grown into what is an extraordinary personality. Even though not every year is a productive one, this does not break Heyer’s stride. He continues to make time for his passion, his profession and his family.
